01The problem

A conventional shower uses water once, then throws it away.

A single shower discards around 20 gallons of clean water down the drain. For a remote cabin, an off-grid property, or anywhere water has to be hauled in and hauled out, every gallon is a cost and a logistics problem. The water itself is fine. We just keep wasting it.

Water scarcity is the problem. Recirculation is the answer.

02How it works

One closed loop, two paths.

A Gensen unit installs behind a standard shower enclosure. It captures every drop from the drain, cleans it, and returns it to the showerhead. Two paths run at the same time: an active recirculation loop that filters and delivers water while you shower, and a passive gravity cycle that keeps cleaning between sessions.

Every unit carries an on-board controller that reads its sensors, runs the pump and UV lamp, enforces safety shutoffs, and streams live data to the cloud, all at once. Maintenance moves from a calendar guess to a measured fact.

Named for the source.

Gensen takes its name from a Japanese onsen certification mark for water drawn straight from the spring, before anything is added to it. That is the standard the product is built to. It is designed, built, and field-tested in real rental cabins in Arizona and Alaska, refined on live use rather than in a lab.
